Leaders In Training

LIT (Leaders in Training) is a week for a small group of high school students to experience a different week of camp, where they will learn various aspects of being a leader. Students will begin to transition from the role of “camper” to “leader” to, eventually, “staff.” LITs will be challenged to wrestle with their beliefs and how to live out their faith in service at camp, churches, community and beyond. The format intentionally looks to train, guide and equip students for leadership and discipleship.

To register for LIT, campers must first apply by completing the self-reflection and submit to our program director. Once this is completed, campers will be put on a waitlist, and our Program Director will be in contact with you. Our goal is to make sure students are ready for this experience, and while we would love to have as many people as possible participate our Leaders In Training Program, spots are limited. It should also be noted that this is not a first come, first serve camp. Campers will be interviewed before being selected to attend.

For the 2025 camp season, we have moved the LIT application to our registration portal. Applicants must complete all registration forms, including the Leaders in Training Application form. Once the applicant's registration has been submitted, they will be added to a waitlist, at which time our Program Director will contact them. No payment is required until the applicant has been accepted into the program. If you have any questions, please get in touch with our Progam Director, Janessa Parker - at programdirector@pinelakechristiancamp.com

Applications Open March 1
