To offer rest, provide recreation and make resources available for single-parent families in a unique, caring Christian setting.

Our Mission
To offer Pine Lake Christian Camp as a place of rest and renewal for single-parent families* in a caring Christian setting by providing accommodation and meals, access to camp recreation, Christian fellowship and specified discussion groups.

*Most families that attend have participated in the RAINBOWS program at a venue in southern Alberta, but the camp is open to all single parent families.

RAINBOWS is an international, not-for-profit organization that fosters emotional healing among families grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis.  RAINBOWS is not counseling or therapy but peer support groups guided by a facilitator to help the healing process and encourage coping strategies.   Certified Christian RAINBOWS facilitators are attending Pine Lake Rainbows Camp to encourage families, at the camp, in formal and informal settings.
