Junior High Camp 2011

Some old favourites together with some new ideas. Jenn Campbell deaned her first camp at Pine Lake Christian Camp did a great job of helping these Junior High campers have a fun place to experience God. After waking up to the morning show and eating breakfast, it was cabin clean-up time but not just clean-up but decoration including special displays, songs and poems written to Jenn to persuade her to give extra points. In the morning, the teens rotated through archery, canoeing, and working on “box cars” for a derby at the end of the week. Hot days were full of wild and crazy water activities and on a rainy evening everyone lounged on the couches to watch Kung Fu Panda. In the afternoon, and sometimes late into the evening the campers enjoyed some great recreation. Brad Anderson guided the campers in thinking about the armour of God with short lessons and then thought provoking discussion questions for afterwards. Each morning, he also led a class in the morning on prayer.
